In addition, according to the requirements of specific applications, there are other special alloy wire materials that can be laser welded, such as titanium steel wire, copper wire, magnesium alloy wire, etc.
It should be noted that different types of wire materials may require different welding parameters and process control during laser welding, so when selecting and applying laser welding wire, it is recommended to test and optimize according to specific material and application requirements.

Both copper and aluminum are highly reflective materials, which are easy to burn out the laser. Generally, our laser manufacturers do not recommend welding copper.
If you must weld copper, you don’t weld too much and long time to weld.
